    Fractions and the Baseline Indicator: When a fraction indicator is in effect, the baseline indicator dots 5must be used before a fraction line or closing fraction indicator belonging to a fraction on the baseline of writing. However, the baseline indicator must not be used after a numeric subscript not requiring a subscript indicator.
