Session 5: Print Shape Example 2 |
The text is:
|
What solids are in the air around you? Smear thin layers of petroleum jelly onto four plastic lids. Place the lids in four outdoor locations around your home and school. |
In this text, the beaker graphic is used throughout the text to indicate to the student that this is a scientific experiment that he or she might like to try. A shape indicator which uses the "bk" abbreviation to mean "beaker", might be used. The transcriber would identify this shape indicator in a transcribers note or in a special symbols list.
