Session 2: Objectives |
Session 2: The Braille Alphabet; Braille Writing Devices
Upon completion of this session, a participant should be able to do the following:
- Read brailled words and provide a written translation of those words.
- Use one or several braille-producing devices (slate/stylus, Perkins brailler, Mac/PCBrailler) to translate print words into braille.
- Describe the workings of braille writing devices, including:
- Slate and Stylus
- Perkins Brailler
- Computer-generated braille
